FACEBOOK Giveaway!!

I’m having a giveaway on my Bilberry Lane Facebook page to win Mackenzie – this lovely boy:

Mackenzie is made from a beautiful light gold colour viscose. He has been purposely aged a little around the edges with oil pastels and, here and there, has a few faux mending stitches. He is 5-way cotter jointed and is filled with a firm fibre filling and steel shot for weight. Mackenzie’s top is made from a sock (a clean one, don’t worry!!) :0) The beautiful floral button on his top is ceramic and his scarf is a piece of homespun fabric. The bag is made from faux suede to which I have added gold style eyelets and chain for decoration and a metal lock; and inside it, he has two teeny tiny postcards ready to send! And finally, around his neck are two antique style gold bells.

Please note: Mackenzie is a collectors bear and is NOT suitable for children under the age of 12

I just came across a great Giveaway on Janet’s blog. It’s for a chance to win this great looking book called ‘Patchwork-Play Quilts’ by Lynn Roddy Brown. The book shows you how to use up some of your scrap fabric to make fabulous looking quilts. It’s certainly appealing to me, as using up some of my HUGE hoard is what I’m going to attempt to do once I’ve completed my current project (a cross-stitch sampler).

Rag Doll Giveaway!

On the grounds that many bloggers host a Giveaway to celebrate their 100th blog post, I’m a tad late with this, as this one will make my 111th post (all the one’s!!!).




Anyway, this is ‘Autumn Annie’, wearing a red check dress topped with a star spangled apron and holding her little twiggy heart garland. I love making rag dolls, so I suppose my Giveaway had to be in keeping with that.
